Checklist

This list gives an overview of the procedure to be performed.

  1. Ensure that required prerequisites are met

  2. Archive all log files.

  3. Delete old log files.

  4. Backup data.

  5. Log modification steps and backup all manual changes.

  6. Update ARIS agents on all nodes.

  7. Validate the ARIS agent updates.

  8. Prepare ARIS Cloud Controller (ACC).

  9. Provide a remote repository.

  10. Update all runnables on all nodes.

  11. Adjust elasticsearch cluster.

  12. Enhance 'simulation' runnable

  13. Start ARIS after the update of all runnables is completed.

  14. Update the system database for each tenant.

  15. Update dashboards (optional).

  16. Update the demo databases for each tenant.

  17. Check and upload missing fonts (ARIS 10.0.5 or earlier).

  18. Reindex CES (optional)

  19. Reindex modeling data for each tenant.

  20. Optionally configure the ARIS agents on all nodes to use the local repository.

  21. Make online help available (optional).
