Change connection settings
After you have installed and configured ARIS Connector for SAP Solutions, you can find the configuration files in the <ARIS Connector for SAP Solutions installation directory>\conf folder.
The ConnectorConfiguration.json file contains ARIS Connector for SAP Solutions startup parameters, such as the port number and the usage of IPv4 or IPv6. You can change this file manually, for example, if port conflicts occurred.
The UpdateARISConfiguration.json file contains the parameters to configure a connection to ARIS server.
The UpdateSAPConfiguration.json file contains the parameters to configure a connection to SAP® Solution Manager 7.2.
You can use any text editor to edit the configuration files listed above. The parameters are described in the corresponding .md files.
Warning
Do not edit the ARISConfiguration.json and SAPConfiguration.json configuration files manually. These files are used by ARIS Connector for SAP Solutions. You must update and activate them using only the command line interface.
For security reasons, you must not specify unencrypted passwords in configuration files. Use the command line interface to automatically encrypt and specify passwords.
After you configured the connections, activate the configuration.
